Virginia Tech Alumni Association Picnic at Freedom Park

Sunday, August 27th 3:00 PM 

Freedom Park Shelter # 6 (1900 East Blvd.) 

 

We are starting a new annual Family/New Members Picnic. All are welcome,
especially new alumni to our group, family, and all Hokie friends and
guests. Let's get together one last time before football season starts!



Food and Drinks will be provided-we'll be grilling out hotdogs and
hamburgers. Beer will be available as well.

Football Watching Parties

 

Come out and join Charlotte VT Alumni this season to watch the Hokies
play some football! 

 

Where: Fox & Hound Uptown (330 North Tryon Street) * 

When: All televised VT football games 



As of right now the UNC game, on Saturday, September 9th ,will be our
first game to be televised.  So we will be at F&H on the 9th in the
downstairs lounge. 

 

 

The VT Alumni Association welcomes non-Alumni friends and families as
well.

VT vs. Clemson Bus Trip - October 26th 

We will be getting together another one of our infamous bus trips for
the Clemson football game in Blacksburg. The game is Thursday night on
October 26. We will be leaving Park Road Shopping Center by 1:00 pm, be
there by 12:30 PM to load. There will be a second stop in the Lake
Norman-Mooresville area at Exit 36 on I-77 at about 1:45 pm, so be there
by 1:30 pm. We will leave the Blacksburg immediately after the game.

The pricing is $50 if you register by August 31. It will be $60 if you
register by October 15 and $75 starting October 16. There will be no
refunds after October 15th. We will provide drinks and snacks on the
trip. The price is for the trip and refreshments; you must have your own
